Ex-Taiwanese leader revisits history in Penang

GEORGE TOWN: The historic journey of Dr Sun Yat-sen, the founding father of modern China, was an eye-opener for former Taiwanese president Ma Ying-jeou and his entourage when they went on the Sun Yat-sen Heritage Trail here during their one-day visit in Penang.

The heritage trail developed for tourists by the Penang Heritage Trust (PHT) showcases the sites visited by Dr Sun, as well as institutions established by his supporters.
