KUALA LUMPUR: It was a day of rejections for PKR's Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin (PKR-Bukit Katil) when two of his motions - to debate violent threats made by Red Shirts leader Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos and the effects of Donald Trump’s win in the recent US election - were rejected by the Dewan Rakyat.
Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia said Wednesday he turned down the motion on Jamal on grounds that cases involving the Red Shirts are already being investigated by police.
