KUALA LUMPUR: PKR members have collectively lodged over 50 police reports against Red Shirts leader Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos.
Ampang MP Zuraida Kamaruddin, who lodged a report at the Ampang police station, said she would also urge party members nationwide to lodge similar reports against Jamal.
"He is known as the leader of the Red Shirts and has made threats against many, including our female leaders," she said.
She alleged that Jamal had committed many acts of violence and even appeared ready to clash with police when a scuffle took place at the Ampang Point shopping centre here on Sunday.
She added that his actions were worrying and urged Inspector General of Police (IGP) Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar to take action.
"His wild actions are worrying, so they need to take action immediately to ensure it does not happen to others. If this continues, it may affect the nation's image," she said.
She also denied Jamal's allegations that one of her supporters had punched him and bloodied his nose during the scuffle, and said there was video evidence to prove that his claims were untrue.
