Esscom releases list of 23 wanted Filipinos

KOTA KINABALU: A list of 23 Filipinos, including the notorious leaders of the Abu Sayyaf militant movement, have been placed on the the Eastern Sabah Security Command's (Esscom) wanted list.

The suspects' known names and pictures were made public Friday in a bid by the authorities to capture the criminals believed to be behind a series of cross-border kidnappings in Sabah's east coast.
