PETALING JAYA: The Government’s decision to stop toll increases for this year and next was due to budget allocations and not public pressure, says Works Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof (pic).
In a statement on Saturday, Fadillah said that the freeze on toll charge hikes was thanks to the RM10bil allocation in Budget 2017 that aimed to ease the cost of living for Malaysians, which included toll charges.
