IGP denies Malaysia involved in Sipadan kidnappings

KUALA LUMPUR: Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar (pic) has refuted claims by Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) leader Nur Misuari that Malaysia was involved in the kidnappings in Sabah.

"That is his (Misuari) claim. The ones who are a problem for us are his people. His people are kidnapping our citizens," Khalid said after launching the National Urgent Response (NUR) Alerts on Facebook at the Bukit Aman police headquarters Friday.
