Spat among MPs almost leads to scuffle

AN ongoing spat between two lawmakers almost led to a scuffle in Parliament, forcing Deputy Speaker Datuk Seri Ismail Mohamed Said to step in to defuse the situation.

The incident stemmed from a heated verbal exchange between Datuk Noor Ehsanuddin Mohd Harun Narrashid (BN-Kota Tinggi) and G. Manivanan (PKR-Kapar) on Monday night during the 2017 Budget speech.
