Passing cop vehicle leaves four robbers empty-handed


: Four armed robbers left behind the drill during an attempt to break open two automated teller machines at a hypermarket in Kampar on Sunday at about 3.30am.

KAMPAR: Four armed robbers were close to carting away cash from two automated teller machines (ATMs) when a passing mobile police vehicle (MPV) put paid to their attempt.

In the end, the robbers fled empty-handed during the theft at a hypermarket here during the wee hours yesterday.
