A special gift for abused child

We are very happy with how things have turned out for her. - J. Dhinagaran

BUTTERWORTH: After the past turbulent months of alleged abuse at the hands of her own mother, a five-year-old girl here has been looking forward to a visit from an “uncle” this Deepavali.

When the “uncle” – MIC central working committee member J. Dhinagaran – arrived at her home in Taman Permatang Sintok, Kepala Batas, yesterday, he came bearing a gift for the girl who made headlines after she was warded with injuries.
