Senior IRB officer dies after crash with drunk driver


KOTA KINABALU: A senior officer of the Inland Revenue Board died after he was hit by a drunk driver on the Tuaran bypass, near Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), near here.

The 36-year-old IRB officer, whose name was not released by police, was riding his motorcycle home when the driver of a Proton Saga swerved into his lane in the 5.30pm mishap Monday.
