KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court has set Oct 27 for two religious councils to decide whether they still want to intervene in the judicial review proceedings filed by Sarawakian clerk Jill Ireland Lawrence Bill that she has constitutional right to import publications with the word “Allah” to practise her religion and right to education.

The two are Federal Territories Islamic Religious Council (MAIWP) and Selangor Islamic Religious Council (MAIS).

Yesterday, Justice Nor Bee Ariffin gave a 10-day period for both parties to update on their intervener bid.
