A-G: We must not bow down to foreign critics

BANGI: Malaysia should not bow down to the “fierce judgemental eyes that are constantly staring at how we chart the destiny of our country”, says Attorney-General Tan Sri Mohamed Apandi Ali.

In his lecture titled “A-G’s Perspectives on Article 5 of the Federal Constitution in This Challenging Borderless World”, Apandi said Article 5 – which guarantees a person’s right to life and liberty – was on par with international norms and standards.
