Why is Penang left out of proposal, ask leaders


GEORGE TOWN: The Election Commission has been urged to explain why its redelineation proposal left Penang almost untouched despite the imbalance in seat sizes in the state.

Bukit Bendera MP Zairil Khir Johari, who sent a 13-page objection to the EC on Thursday, said the commission should not claim that the number of voters in Penang constituencies are “more or less the same”.
