KOTA KINABALU: A police report has been lodged against Facebook account user Julfazli Shi Ahmad for a photo he uploaded in his page allegedly defaming several Barisan leaders over the ongoing Water Department corruption case.

One of them is Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Musa Aman.

The report by several groups and individuals, including Libaran Umno division leaders, Mimbar Permuafakatan Ibubapa Malaysia (Mapim) Sandakan and Lembaga Koperasi Mantap Libaran Bhd, was lodged at the Sandakan police station yesterday.

According to the report, Julfazli, who is also a member of NGO Gerakan Anak Sabah Selamatkan Sabah, uploaded the defamatory poster-like photo in his Facebook page.

The posting was also reported as trying to influence the people of Sabah to degrade the state government via the social media website.

It is also said that Julfazli was trying to spoil the image of Musa and others in the picture.
