PUTRAJAYA: Nearly half a million ringgit have gone to waste over the last three years – all because applicants did not collect their new MyKads.
From 2013 to 2015, the National Registration Department had to destroy 24,458 uncollected MyKads, causing losses amounting to some RM489,000.
