PETALING JAYA: Sarawak Deputy Chief Minister Tan Sri James Masing (pic) has welcomed a ban on political donations from foreign countries in order to limit foreign influence on Malaysian politics.
“I have always been a supporter of transparency in political donations ever since the idea was mooted by PM Najib a few years ago,” said Masing in a statement on Friday.
