PETALING JAYA: PKR and Pakatan Harapan are insisting that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is the coalition’s choice for prime minister if the Opposition wins the next general election.
“Alhamdulillah, we continue to hold on to the consensus that DS Anwar Ibrahim, who led us to 52% popular support in the last elections, remains the choice as prime minister,” said PKR vice-president Nurul Izzah Anwar in a brief WhatsApp message to The Star yesterday.
