‘Cops did not record statement properly’


KUALA LUMPUR: A seamstress claimed that police did not record her statement properly on the whereabouts of the black Mitsubishi Triton which was said to have been used to ram into former deputy public prosecutor Datuk Kevin Anthony Morais’ car, a High Court here heard.

S. Yogeswari, 37, said Criminal Investigation Department officer Insp M. Vasu attached to the Kulim district police headquarters in Kedah, had recorded that the pick-up was not with her between Aug 2 and Sept 11 last year but he did not record her statement saying that the car was sent to her house each night.
