Group sends memo to Chinese consulate over alleged BUCG remarks


GEORGETOWN: A social group concerned with statements allegedly made by Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng concerning a company based in China to various Chinese dailies, has sent a memorandum to the Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Penang.

Penang Malaysian and Chinese Culture Friendship Organisation member Lee Hack Teik claimed that a few Chinese dailies had carried remarks about the Beijing Urban Construction Group (BUCG) on the crane incident in Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur, which killed administration executive Joice Chin Khoon Sing on Aug 25.
