Fake branded bags and accessories worth RM12,000 seized in Penang


BUTTERWORTH: A total of 2,442 fake branded bags and accessories worth RM12,000 were confiscated during a raid at a two-storey wholesale centre in Bandar Perai Jaya, here Tuesday.

Seberang Perai Tengah Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Office head Abdul Madi Wahab (pic) said the 11am raid was mounted after a week of observation following reports of consumers who claimed to have been cheated after buying branded items at the centre.
