More JPJ officers nabbed over sale of junked S’pore posh cars


ALOR SETAR: Two more Road Transport Department (JPJ) officers have been arrested by Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) for their ‘insider’s role’ in a syndicate that sold scrapped luxury cars brought in from Singapore.

The duo — aged 32 and 29 — were arrested at the Petaling Jaya JPJ office on Thursday and brought to the Alor Setar Court for remand yesterday. The two, an assistant enforcement officer and an administration assistant, have been remanded until Sept 29.
