KAJANG: The growth of Chinese schools in Malaysia was stunted when Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was the education minister, says Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
The MCA president said during Anwar’s tenure (1986 to 1991), requests from the Chinese community for the setting up of more Chinese schools were ignored.
