KUALA LUMPUR: Police have launched two separate investigations against former soldier Mohd Ali Baharom, also known as Ali Tinju, and Bersih 2.0 chief Maria Chin Abdullah following reports lodged against them last week.
Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar confirmed that Ali Tinju is being probed for criminal intimidation, while Maria is being investigated for activities detrimental to parliamentary democracy.
