Man arrested after threatening to hijack flight

KOTA KINABALU: Police have arrested a 62-year-old Pakistani businessman who allegedly threatened to hijack a plane at the international airport here on Friday.

The man, who is accused of having uttered the words “I am going to hijack your airplane” to airline staff who asked him for his passport was arrested as he boarded a flight to Bandar Seri Begawan.
