KUALA LUMPUR: From independent Islamic preachers to celebrities, the World #QuranHour programme held at the Sultan Ahmad Shah Mosque of the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) also attracted a wide range of participants.
The programme, which was held simultaneously nationwide and in 50 countries, is considered the best platform to urge Muslims to return to the Quran and make it their guide in their daily life.
