Top of the world: The Star's R.AGE documentary journalism team has won the top award at the international World Young Reader Prize, beating out competition from the United States, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Hong Kong, South Africa and more.

PETALING JAYA: Three key elements has enabled The Star’s R.AGE team to win the best youth news publisher award by the World Association of Newspapers and News Publishers (Wan-Ifra).

Judges said the top prize went to R.AGE’s team of young documentary journalists because of their innovative use of video, compelling storytelling and youth engagement.
