IPOH: Three university students who were remanded for three days at the Perak Tengah police headquarters for allegedly encroaching into the UiTM Seri Iskandar premises on Aug 20 have filed a civil suit against the police at the Ipoh High Court.
According to their lawyer Mohd Fitri Asmuni on Friday, the trio were taking legal action because the plaintiffs were allegedly denied the right to counsel when they were remanded for three days.
