Bear sculptures attract controversy

GEORGE TOWN: An exhibition aimed at fostering unity through bear sculptures has somehow got Penang Umno’s goat.

Penang Umno claimed that the United Buddy Bears exhibition at the Esplanade had words reproduced from the Hadith that had been placed in an inappropriate part of the bear sculpture.
