How horses became snakes in police report

KUALA LUMPUR: Police were baffled when a man in Ulu Yam reported that his car was “attacked by snakes” and claimed that one even dented the bonnet.

The confusion was cleared up when it was found out later that the man was not fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and had used the word “ular” (snake) when he meant “kuda” (horse).
