GEORGE TOWN: Balik Pulau MP Datuk Seri Dr Hilmi Yahaya has expressed his disappointment that the state government was taking George Town’s Unesco Heritage status for granted by wanting to build a transportation hub and train interchange station in the heart of the city.
“It took the Barisan Nasional government over 10 years to convince Unesco to declare George Town as a Unesco heritage site.
