PETALING JAYA: The apology by former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad does little to rectify the amendments made to the Federal Constitution during his tenure.
Lawyer and constitutional law expert Syahredzan Johan said Dr Mahathir’s apology might have been misplaced with regard to the amendment to Article 66 of the Constitution that removed the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s power to send Bills back to the legislature.
