Illegal loggers try to bribe entire village in Gua Musang


PASIR PUTEH: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) is investigating orang asli claims that illegal loggers tried to bribe an entire village to be silent over their activities in Gua Musang.

State MACC director Datuk Moh Samsuddin Yusoff said following a complaint by a village head, his officers are investigating the claims that the orang asli villagers were offered cash, rice, tobacco and other essentials as an inducement to keep silent over the illegal activities.
