YAN: Three fishermen who had been floating in the sea for eight hours after their boat capsized due to strong waves were rescued by a Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) patrol vessel.
Abu Bakar Yahya, 61, Md Habib Kasar, 55 and Thai crew member Romli Salam, 19, had been out at sea for two days when their Kuala Kedah-registered boat capsized six nautical miles west of Pulau Bunting off the coast here at 2am during a storm.
