BENTONG: No permit has been issued for logging activities in the Virgin Jungle Reserve (VJR) of Hulu Terengganu in Kuala Lipis near here, Pahang Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Adnan Yaakob (pic) said Saturday.
However, he said, checks with the State Forestry Department found that permit was issued for work to bring out timber for road construction.
