National doubles pair gets a boost from Rosmah


RIO DE JANEIRO: Malaysian badminton doubles pair Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong received a boost prior to Friday’s finals with a letter from the Prime Minister’s wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor (pic), congratulating them on their outstanding performance at the Rio Olympics on Wednesday.

Rosmah, who is the patron of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM), wrote that she, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak and family conveyed their profound congratulations to the two players for reaching the finals at the Rio Olympics.
