AN attempt to tear down the Sungai Pelek Rajakaliamman Temple in Sepang, Selangor, by the Sepang Municipal Council nearly turned violent after the devotees briefly clashed with council officers, Tamil dailies reported.
The council officers went to the temple on Tuesday to tear down the structure, which was illegally located on government land.
