KUALA LUMPUR: It was 8am and Melbourne was just stirring, but the home of Josiah Ng (pic) erupted in celebration as Azizulhasni Awang romped home to take Malaysia’s first cycling Olympic medal.
Ng, the former Commonwealth Games gold medallist and three-time Olympian, is the man who is credited with making cycling, especially the kierin, a big thing in Malaysia.
