Ride-hailing service that empowers the disabled

Help is on the way: Tong hopes to create more opportunities for people in need through CARBNB.

DAMANSARA: Melvin Tong lost his right leg when he was 17 due to cancer. But the disease has not deterred his wish to help the less fortunate.

The businessman realised that there could be others like him who might not be able to seek employment due to their physical disability. So, he decided to start a social enterprise company called CARBNB, which focuses on helping the B-40 group (low earners who constitute 40% of the population) and physically-impaired people.
