Penang gives RM100,000 reward to shuttling sensation Chan

GEORGE TOWN: The Penang state government will be rewarding national shuttler Chan Peng Soon with RM100,000 following his success in reaching the mixed doubles final of the Rio Olympics.

Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng said the state was very proud of Chan who, together with his partner Goh Liu Ying, gave a sterling performance to enter the mixed doubles final of the Olympics.
