Company director charged with cheating over work permits


KUALA LUMPUR: A company director claimed trial in a magistrate's court here to four counts of cheating a man of more than RM30,000 over work permits for four foreign workers.

Nor Hisham Ya'acob @ Yacob, 42, was charged with cheating Koh Peng Seng, 57, by getting him to hand over cash amounting to RM23,000 and two cheques for a total of RM12,050 for the renewal and registration of work permits for two Bangladeshis, a Thai and a Chinese national.
