PETALING JAYA: Former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been discharged from the National Heart Institute (IJN).
He was discharged at 4.30pm yesterday.
“He will continue with physiotherapy and exercises at home,” IJN said in a press release.
Dr Mahathir was admitted on Aug 9 for a chest infection.
The 91-year-old former premier has undergone several heart operations.
The past few months have been busy for him as he was involved in the formation of the new Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia together with former deputy prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
