Zahid announces two measures to ease burden of urban poor


KUALA LUMPUR: Pupils from families living in the Projek Perumahan Rakyat (PPR) low-cost flats here will be given free bus rides to schools, while the government will make it easier for lower income earners in the city to own PPR flats.

These two measures were announced by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi as part of the government’s move to ease the difficulties faced by the urban poor.
