PETALING JAYA: A Malaysian student is in dire straits after suffering a ruptured appendix while attending a youth forum in South Korea as he finds himself without the means to pay his medical bill.  

Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) student Mohd Arif Gamar, 21, was one of five Malaysian students sponsored to represent the country at the 5th International Youth Forum on Historical Reconciliation in Seoul.
