Tamil school pupil excels in abacus

BUKIT MERTAJAM: The abacus is often associated with the Chinese but one Tamil primary school pupil here is pretty proficient in using it.

SJK (T) Bukit Mertajam pupil T. Vibisha’s skills in using the abacus helped her land the silver prize in the eight-year-old category of the 2016 World City Cup Abacus, Arithmetic and Mathematics Competition.
