PETALING JAYA: The pilots on board the AirAsia X flight that came dangerously close to a collision with a Jetstar plane in Australia had been following the flight path instructed to them by air traffic control, said AirAsia X Berhad.
In a statement on Friday, AirAsia X said the flight had received clearance for take-off and was following its assigned flight path before the incident on Thursday morning.
