Up for grabs: Free rides and beauty products are on offer with the Star Media Group’s 4545 Giveaways.

PETALING JAYA: The third round of Star Media Group’s 45@45 Giveaways is now open for entries – and it’s the most varied yet, with RM2,000 Grab rides and pampering beauty products for the taking.

Option one will see 30 winners each getting RM2,000 worth of rides from Grab, to be used in 45 days. These can be split into a maximum of 100 rides (which means each ride is at least RM20), or can be used for longer rides.

So, for readers who need to get to the airport or want to mall hop on a weekend without getting frazzled by elusive parking lots – this giveaway would be a dream come true.

Beauty products are on offer with the Star Media Group's 45@45 Giveaways.

Or, ditch the car and get driven to the office and appointments like a boss.

For this contest, 35 of the total 45 Grab prizes are available; 10 will be going to under-privileged wheelchair users who need frequent trips to the hospital for treatment or therapy.

The second contest will see participants vying for one of the 45 beauty and skincare items up for grabs, valued at between RM155 and RM939 each.

These include gorgeous gift sets from Caudalie, Laura Mercier and Annick Goutal from Ken’s Apothecary, Shiseido Suncare sets, Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum and bottles of Christian Dior J’adore eau de toilette, all for women. There are also jars of Facial Fuel Heavy Lifting for men from Kiehl’s.

Readers are allowed to take part in both contests – so they can get where they’re going and look great on the way.

Take part by going to For both, you have to complete a jigsaw puzzle within 45 seconds and think up a catchy slogan. All entries must be in by Aug 4.

The 45@45 Giveaways is organised by Star Media Group to celebrate The Star’s 45th anniversary.

At least 45 gifts will be given away every 45 days, and every round offers unique prizes; there are three more giveaways to go for the year.

The Star celebrates its anniversary on Sept 9.
