MALACCA: Several public institutions of higher learning have come forward to offer an intensive programme to improve the command of the English language among civil servants in the state.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron said the intensive learning programme, scheduled to begin at the end of the year, was for Malacca government officers in Grade 41 and above.
