KOTA KINABALU: In a move to boost security, boat operators have been urged to provide details of the movement of their vessels to the Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom).
Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed (pix) said the response of operators from Sabah’s east coast to notify Esscom of their routes has been very poor and as such, their boats and crew could be targets of lurking cross border criminals including kidnappers.
