Illegal business: Penang Island City Council officials checking on thehousing unit at Halaman Pulau Tikus condominium following reports of an unlawful lodging business.

GEORGE TOWN: The owner of a condominium unit who allegedly collected rent from tenants on a daily basis has been slapped with a RM250 fine by the Penang Island City Council (MBPP).

MBPP officers who went to the condo unit on the fourth floor of the seven-storey Halaman Pulau Tikus condominium found two occupants believed to be Indonesians inside the unit, but the owner was not in.
