PUTRAJAYA: Passport counters at nine Immigration Department offices will be closed on certain days for system upgrades to handle the Malaysian international passport with polycarbonate chip pages under a pilot project.
In a statement, the Department said passport counters at immigration offices in Kota Kinabalu, Sipitang, Ranau, Kudat, Keningau and Tenom in Sabah would close on Tuesday, July 19.
The passport counter at the Melbourne Attaché office will be closed on July 20 and 21, while the passport counters in Mersing and Tioman will be closed on Aug 3 and 4, it added. – Bernama
